Waylon's Story

Waylon McCoy was only 6 weeks old when he was abused by someone he should have trusted. He came very close to dying.
As a mother, the pain of watching my newborn baby suffer and the feeling of helplessness to make his pain go away was unimaginably painful. But I focused on practicing constant love and positivity, and I committed to bringing joy into his room whenever I could.
Loving Way
Our Mission
Loving Way's mission is to advocate, increase awareness and bring joy - some "little happies" as we call them - into the lives of our fellow child abuse survivors and their families. Through programs based on our own experience, we will help others live the Loving Way and stay in the light even when the world can feel so dark.
We're here to bring the light their way whenever - and however - we can. We are so grateful to share both our positivity and our experience with our fellow travelers on this journey.
