For the first time, burn the candle for 2-3 hours until the wax has become liquid on the entire surface. This helps the candle burn evenly and prevents tunneling.
It's recommended to trim the wooden wick before each use, removing all charred wood from previous burns.
When burning a candle, always keep it within sight and attended, never burn it near flammable materials, keep it out of reach of children and pets, and avoid touching the hot vessel until it has cooled down. Discontinue burning when wax is approximately ½ inch down from the bottom of the glass.
