The gift box is gorgeous and the wooden jars inside, absolutely beautiful. They’re handcrafted collectibles by artisans in Southeast Asia and produced only once a year in a very limited quantity. These jars help the livelihoods of these artisans by the renewed opportunity to be able to put their craftsmanship back to work again.

When I first used the cleansing bar and the smoother in my shower, I seriously did not want to get out. The scent was intoxicating, very sensual. I was a bit apprehensive to use them at first because I have very sensitive skin and I’m allergic to fragrances. But rather than wanting to run away from the smell (which is my typical reaction to fragrances), I wanted to drink in the scent for as long as I can. It was heaven.

I had the same apprehension to using the butter because I’ve only used cetaphil to moisturize my skin, it’s totally fragrance free. I’m happy to say though that I’ve had no reactions or breakouts. I actually applied the butter right before bed and when I woke up, I can still smell it lingering around me. Yummy.

I love using mine, too! Sabrina likes it and has put very little bits on her hands and so far it's been fine! She is so cute and very careful when she removes some from the truffle jar. It's fun to watch her!

Scrub:

- I liked the texture and consistency of the body smoother.. the texture is perfect for scrubbing w/out being too gritty on the skin.

Body Butter:

- LOVED the texture and feel of the butter -- it goes on very nicely and absorbs well into my skin - I don't have the winter itchiness like I usually do.

I received the package and love the scent of the Earth Apple – I can smell just a hint of apple… what a nice and light balance. The wooden truffle jars are beautiful and remind me of the islands – I will definitely keep the jars to put trinkets in once I finish the products… I know the kids will enjoy playing with them too.

The box looked great – I loved the Wisdom quote from the book of Proverbs on the inside of the box… I think I will make that my mantra for 2009.
