Women4Women Journey
"I used the smoother that night and also yesterday - I cannot believe how soft the texture is! I never had anything like it and believe me I have been using "body scrub" for a long time:)))"

Celebrating Women Helping Women
Four Truffles is a woman-owned, women-run skincare brand created by women, for women and their families. We believe that women are born with an innate sense of family, community and unity. We strive to tie those elements together to help unify the world from the inside out - with the bonds of love, hope, faith, eternity.
We travel the world in search of ingredients and packaging materials that unite the world and its resources. Since we’re a brand that celebrates being a woman and our love for others, we believe that exceptional women and nature’s vast resources make our product offering a labor of love. We hope to better the lives of women and their families, one product at a time.
Stories
Argan Oil Story
Four Truffles works directly with women-owned Argan Forest collectives in Morocco to get the freshest argan oil possible while simultaneously helping improve the social and economic status of rural women who strive to maintain a heritage of natural harvesting traditions to support their land and community.
Women in the rural areas of Morocco work tirelessly to protect and save the argan forest. It is here that the argan tree, also known as the Tree of Life, flourishes as one of Morocco’s prized jewels.
The women cooperatives use traditional means of harvesting and producing argan oil by hand to preserve the trees, land and its resources. It is the only acceptable way of acquiring the oil to this day because it preserves the argan forest and provides socioeconomic benefits to the community, especially the women. It is a major source of income and opportunity for personal growth for these local women who leverage both to access better education and business skills that allow them to flourish, be confident and provide for their families and community.
Shea Butter Story
The organic shea butter in all Four Truffles products is harvested from the West African village of Burkina Faso. Shea butter is made from shea nuts, the fruit of the shea karite tree, which is only found in Africa. It is a resource of great nutritional and economic importance across 16 countries of sub-Saharan Africa, particularly Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea and Mali as well as Burkina Faso.
Our suppliers have Ecocert certified over 100,000 shea trees that are harvested by women who adhere to traditional methods. They use every single part of the nut possible. Locally, the nuts are used for cooking while the paste and butter is exported for use as an ingredient in the food and cosmetic industries in Europe and the United States.
The women in the village chant, sing and dance around harvest time. They celebrate and enjoy the many benefits of nature’s resource, including the socio-economic freedom they’ve gained from partnering with distributors who help facilitate their daily workload in order to improve their overall quality of life. Through this partnership, these local women now have the opportunity to provide financial and educational freedom for themselves and their children.
Handcrafted Wooden Truffle Jars
In a small province of Laguna, Philippines, a wife and husband team own and operate a wonderful woodworking shop where they hand carve furniture and accessories. They utilize the traditional Filipino wood carving craft that transforms a raw piece of wood into a delicate and intricate masterpiece with only a few carving tools and their very skillful hands.
Four Truffles purchases our signature handmade truffle jars directly from this family. We admire their passion and dedication to their family and community's traditional artistic handicraft that can be traced back for over a century.
In addition, as a payback to Mother Nature, we’ve joined the Plant A Tree Movement Philippines where we donate money annually to help plant edible fruit trees along the roadsides of towns and provinces for families and tourists to enjoy their beauty, nutrients, shelter and ability to remove CO2 emissions from the environment. It is our way of promoting a full circle approach to giving.
