Do Good and Make Your Mark for Haiti!
Thanks so much for those of you who participated in our Make Your Mark for Haiti Fundraiser! Attached are photos of the women and children from New Life to Children (NLC) who are working hard to rebuild their lives. Our financial donation went towards the construction of homes so they can literally have a solid roof over their heads, solid walls and ground to keep them sheltered especially right now with the ongoing tropical storms. As you can see in the photos, construction is well underway.
We will continue our ongoing Do Good efforts to empower women and provide relief for orphans by way of financial aid and donation of personal care products throughout the year. Although we don’t see much of Haiti in the news nowadays, please continue to keep them in your thoughts and help in anyway you can. There’s still so much to be done. Women and children are so vulnerable to violence. Here’s an article on actress Nicole Kidman’s campaign to especially protect women and children.
We hope these photos give you hope and inspiration as you see their beautiful smiling faces, hard work and determination to re-build. Let’s always be grateful for what we have and give to those who are not as fortunate.
