Celebrate Women Helping Women

Wow… what a week we’ve been through… just finished working on a major fundraising event for women and children in crisis for pvjuniours.org.  Thanks to everyone for stopping by the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel this Sunday to support our philanthropies!

Needless to say my week was filled with so much hustle and bustle as we took the lead in spearheading this event.  The great news is that we raised a lot of money and awareness for our cause and that for me is worth all the time and effort put forth in making this event come to fruition!

I just want to share some information about the local philanthropies we support throughout the year.

Rainbow Services http://www.rainbowservicesdv.org/
Provides a comprehensive range of services to women and children victimized by domestic violence including a 24-hour hotline, confidential emergency and transitional shelters, counseling, children’s activities, and support services, focusing on ending the cycle of family violence.

Harbor Interfaith Services http://www.harborinterfaith.org/
Provides homeless and working poor families with emergency shelter, food, job placement, advocacy, transitional housing, childcare, and support services.  Harbor Interfaith is the only agency in the South Bay that houses homeless families.

It truly is that time of the year to give to others who are in need.  Thank you everyone for all your support in sharing our commitment in helping women.
