Creative “Aha” Moments…

Today was Right Brain overload!  But I have to say it was fun.  I love the creative process and one of my “Aha” moments was the steps that took place in order to come up with the right name for our Performance Driven Natural Complex.  You’ll soon find out what 4T PDN complex is all about and why it’s good for your skin, but right now I’d like to just write about our “creative Aha moment”.

Basically, we have been working on new product copy for our body care line.  As many of you may have experienced with copywriting, you get to a point where you feel “stuck”.   You have to understand that we look at things that pertain to skin, organic argan oil, shea butter, olive oil, beakers, spindles and creams all day long.   It then dawned on me that perhaps I should do a rough sketch of an icon, almost like a logo of our proprietary skin care formula and maybe… just maybe… that can get my mind focused.

Happy to say that doing that  was such an eye opener.  Creating an image to represent a formula is pretty wild but it totally worked.  We got our copy done and now we have a very cool visual image to communicate that.  It was really quite amazing how fluid and fast flowing words and the structure came together.   Imagine that!

Suffice to say, copy and layout accomplished.  We do need to work on finalizing that image that’s looking like it will turn into a logo, so stay tuned and we’ll showcase very very soon.
