Tangerine Tango is the color of 2012.  It is truly full of life and we love that our Tangerine Lavender complements its characteristics.  The flowery herbal scent of Bulgarian lavender teases tangy tangerine like a sultry sedative song. This year was filled with a mixed bag of experiences.  Being a small business comes with many challenges especially for women entrepreneurs however, there’s so much joy in the journey that makes it all worthwhile.  I’ve always said that when you start with good intentions based on the principles of doing good, there’s no way you can fail.  This is where my confidence and joy comes from and draw upon that the possibilities are endless to what we can achieve.  I applaud all the women entrepreneurs out there and encourage those who dream of becoming one to follow their calling.

In looking back, I see and hear the hope from women being touched by what we do.  For many touched by our efforts, no matter what the amount of our financial contribution may be, to them it’s priceless.  Everything counts, even when you just show up to volunteer your time to tell someone they matter and that they are loved.  Most of the time, words and actions have the most impact in changing people’s lives.  This is what gives me and Four Truffles the drive to continue with our mission.  This mission is very much dependent on all of our partners, volunteers and supporters, which include the women cooperatives, every single friend,  family member, customer, the social media community and our retail partners.

We’re so grateful for all your continued support in our labor of love.  Blessings to you and yours in 2012!

Four Truffles - a Women 4 Women Journey

• 2 cup(s) cannellini beans
• 2 clove(s) garlic
• 1/4 cup(s) lemon juice
• 1/4 cup(s) extra-virgin, olive oil
• 3/4 teaspoon(s) salt

Puree all the ingredients together in a food processor. Mix in fresh chopped herbs such as parsley, rosemary, or thyme, if you desire. Serve on toasted pita triangles.

Beans are an excellent source of protein and this is super easy to make!
