“Mommy are we rich?”
A question asked by my 6 year old. I then replied “well honey, that depends. What does it mean to be rich?” She then said, “to have lots of money”.
Financial challenges surround all of us and these past 2 years really made me appreciate the things that matter most in life so with that I was able to share with my little one that “being rich” is about having family & friends and a life filled with faith, hope & love. I then explained further by giving her examples.
The best part of this conversation is that she got it. You should’ve seen the twinkle in her eyes – priceless!
